Including a YouTube video with your comment

Including a YouTube video with your comment on the discussion page of a project is easy with Project.co. 

Firstly, you’ll need to have a video uploaded and available on YouTube. If you haven’t already uploaded your video to your YouTube account then do that first.

When you’re on the discussion page you’ll see the “Include” button to the right of the “Post Comment” button as per the below:

When you hover over this you’ll get a number of different options.

Choose “Insert YouTube Video”. You’ll then see a modal pop up. It asks you to enter the ID of the video you want to include:

To find the ID go to YouTube and find the video you want to use. Below the video you will see a “Share” link similar to the image below:

When you click this you’ll see a modal like the image below:

The ID is the letter and number string after the https://youtu.be/ – we’ve highlighted this above for clarity. Copy this and paste it into the modal on Project.co:

When you click “OK” you’ll see a small embed of the video next to the “Include” button. When you post your comment the video will now be included inline with your comment.
